    In order to enhance movement of cargo through the National Government through the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has constructed and commissioned the new weighbridge along Mlolongo to facilitate business operations through ensuring fast and efficient service delivery.

    Plans are underway to improve the KCC, Eldoret following the installation of new machinery in the factory. The plans also involve the process of paying dairy farmers who supply milk to KCC factories promptly.

    The County Government of Kisumu hosted stakeholders to a consultative meeting on Climate Change Policy development in Kisumu. Speaking at the event, the Chief Officer Climate Change, Ms. Lorna Omuodo pointed out that Kisumu County was experiencing environmental challenges which required interventions in mitigation and adaptation.

    US Ambassador Meets Nakuru Business Leaders
    US Ambassador Robert Godec recently met business leaders drawn from various Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) in Nakuru. During the meeting, Ambassador Godec sought to allay fears by the business community particularly those exporting to the US that AGOA was likely to be scrapped saying indications are that AGOA would not be discontinued.
