Kenya Power team led the Regional Manager and Network Connectivity; Eng. David Tare respectively visited manufacturing companies in Eldoret as part of Kenya Powers’ large power consumers’ engagements in the country.
The Chapter Chair, Mr. Anup Bid noted that the chapter is keen on interacting with members from the larger Mt. Kenya region despite the distance from the Chapter Offices in Thika. The Chapter covers Kiambu, Murang’a, Nyeri, Embu and Meru Counties
On 5 April 2017, Kiambu County Water and Environmental technical committee handed over the first Kiambu County Water and Sanitation Services sector policy to Deputy Governor, HE. Gerald Githinji.
The KAM Machakos Chapter held its committee meeting to strategy on 2017 key priority areas for members in the region. The Committee led by the Chapter Chairman, Mr. Regeru Mureithi identified membership growth, retention and value addition as the main focus point to increase chapter visibility.
During the month, the Nyanza Western Chapter held a training for SME’s on Building a competitive Edge in the EAC and COMESA Markets. This training purposed to equip the participants with knowledge and skills on how to build robust business strategies necessary to exploit opportunities available within this region.
