Kisumu Chapter Holds SME Development Forum

During the month, the Nyanza Western Chapter held a training for SME’s on Building a competitive Edge in the EAC and COMESA Markets. This training purposed to equip the participants with knowledge and skills on how to build robust business strategies necessary to exploit opportunities available within this region.

The training also gave the participants a snapshot of the COMESA and EAC regions, conducting environmental analysis, analysis of internal environment to determine available resources and capabilities, finding propitious nice and setting robust strategies.

Meeting with KeNHa Regional Manager

The chapter committee also met the KeNHa Regional Manager Eng. Nyamwaro to discuss the state of the Kisumu-Miwani- Chemelil-Muhoroni- Kipsitet road. Also in attendance were users of the road. The road is currently in deplorable condition and costs the manufactures valuable resources in maintenance and downtime.

Eng. Nyanwaro took the members through annuity roads program aimed at maintaining the roads.
