Vihiga County Business Community Engages Gubernatorial Candidates

KAM Nyanza/Western Chapter together with KNCCI Vihiga Chapter engaged Vihiga County Gubernatorial Candidates, Hon. Wilber Otichillo, Hon. Yusuf Chanzu and Hon. Josephat Amadi on key issues affecting the economic agenda of the county.

KAM Nyanza/Western Chapter Officer noted that the basis of the engagements was to steer the political direction on the economic agenda of the county and also offer a platform for the business community to provide counsel on economy, job creation, environment, security and food security among the key issues.

The ODM aspirant Hon Otichillo highlighted his areas of priority as good governance, developing skills, creating opportunities for youth employment, promoting primary healthcare, developing local Industry’s to spur growth, promote sustainable development and conservation of environment and promoting County unity.

The ANC candidate Hon Yususf Chanzu highlighted Jobs, training the youths on entrepreneurship, improved infrastructure and good governance. Hon. Josephat Amadi an Independent candidate highlighted his areas of priority as roads, clean water, improved health infrastructure, commercialization of agriculture.
