South Rift Chapter participates in the Timber Sector Forum
The South Rift Chapter participated in a Timber Sector forum organised by the Timber Manufacturers Association (TMA) on the 19th October 2018.
The forum was held against the backdrop of the ongoing timber moratorium, which has grounded the sector’s operations.
Speaking at the forum, KAM Timber Sector Chairman, Mr Hitesh Mediratta highlighted KAM’s effort to have the moratorium lifted.
Mr Hitesh further noted KAM’s readiness to participate in multi-stakeholders’ effort to secure a long-term solution to the challenges affecting the sector.
