Let us give businesses the room to do business
In less than two months the country’s annual budget will be read outlining the priority areas for the next year. Already, the Parliamentary Budget Office has given its analysis of the budget policy statement, sounding a red alert on diminishing funds for national development.

What we need to spur economic growth
I was recently in a networking forum where a participant asked how we can fix our economy. The question is dominant on the minds of many running businesses in this country. The cost of doing business is becoming unbearable
We are living in tough economic times. Businesses are struggling to stay afloat and the job market shrinks every day. This is more so crucial in an era where automation is expected to reduce manual labour.

In Bijapur, India, citizens can trade in four plastic bottles for one cup of tea. In Rome, Ecuador, Istanbul and Indonesia, one can get bus tickets and free transport for trading in plastic bottles. A casual apparel chain in Tokyo has announced a partnership with a top factory to produce clothing made from recycled plastic bottles next year.
