Established in 1959 as a private sector body, KAM has evolved into the voice of the industry and a premier representative for manufacturing value-add industries and related sectors in Kenya. Our mission is to promote competitive and sustainable local manufacturing, with a vision to be a world-class Business Member Organization (BMO) effectively delivering services to its members.

Our Services:

KAM serves as a professional knowledge supplier, providing evidence-based policy advocacy and demand-driven value-added services to its members. Our services encompass a wide range of areas, offering dynamic support in alignment with the ever-evolving policy framework that regulates businesses.

KAM membership is spread across seven regions: Nairobi, Lower Eastern, North Rift, South Rift, Nyanza/Western, Coast, and Central regions.

Membership at KAM is structured in two categories, namely:

Ordinary Membership*

Ordinary membership is extended to companies that are directly involved in processing, manufacturing or any other value addition activities.

Associate/Consultancy Membership*

Associate/Consultancy membership is extended to firms which have direct interest in the expansion of industries, either through the provision of services or other inputs.

  • Membership fee is calculated on the annual turnover of the organisation. if payment is done via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or cheque, one will need to provide a remittance advice.
