KAM Engages the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa

12/06/2024: KAM hosted the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) Kenya. AGRA is collaborating with governments and businesses in the Asian region (China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Vietnam) to accelerate agricultural transformation in Africa by promoting investments that support mechanization, seed access, and affordable financing for the sector. This initiative complements KAM’s Agriculture for Industry (A4I) strategic pillar, where the adoption of machinery, improved seed varieties, and increased access to finance are pivotal. During the meeting, Asian investors were present, and it was agreed that KAM will continue to advocate for a business-friendly environment to support these investments and provide business facilitation services to prospective investors looking to set up in the country. KAM and AGRA will engage further, recognizing the mutual benefits of this collaboration.
