Jumbo Foam Mattresses CEO named KAM Nyanza/Western Regional Chair

Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) Nyanza/Western Region has named Mr Jayesh Trikambhai Patel as the new Regional Chairman and Ms Bijal Sharma as the regional Vice Chair to serve for a period of two years.

Mr Patel, who brings on board vast knowledge of manufacturing trends, has been the Regional Vice Chair for the last two years as well as the treasurer of the regional committee during this tenure. He is the Chief Executive of Tridah Distributors, Jumbo Foam Mattresses and Novixa International Limited.

Speaking at the regional office, Mr Patel committed to making the Region vibrant and proactive in addressing member issues.

The incoming Vice Chair, Ms Bijal Sharma, is the director of Atlantic Ltd. and a pharmacist by profession. She is keen on supporting SME development through training and mentorship to ensure the next generation companies are growth-oriented.

Mr Patel takes over from Ms Joyce Opondo, the first-ever female regional Chairperson at the Association. Ms Opondo was keen on membership growth and service delivery to members. She will continue to serve as an Ex-Officio of the committee, playing an advisory role in the region’s advocacy initiatives.
