Fostering Youth Empowerment in Mombasa

13/10/2023: KAM actively engaged in the Employers Roundtable meeting held in Mombasa, collaborating closely with the State Department of Youth Affairs. The primary aim of this gathering was to foster productive partnerships and cooperation among various stakeholders, including the private sector, employers, employment facilitators, development partners, opportunity youth, and youth-serving organizations.

The objective was to establish a seamless connection between the youth population and skilling, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

In this concerted effort, the ultimate goal is to empower more than 300,000 unemployed youths in Mombasa by providing them access to decent economic and job opportunities. This initiative stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, as diverse entities join forces to create a positive impact on the lives of the youth, thereby contributing significantly to the region’s economic growth and stability.
