Kisumu County Gubernatorial Candidates Engaged to Push Economic Agenda

Kenya Association of Manufactures Nyanza & Western Region hosted Kisumu County Gubernatorial candidates Anyang Nyongo and H.E Jack Ranguma as part of nation-wide engagements with political leaders aimed at centralizing the economic agenda of the country.

Among the key issues of discussion include youth employment, poor infrastructure, a competitive business environment for large and small businesses and food security.

KAM Nyanza/Western Chapter Chairlady, Ms. joyce Opondo emphasised the need for a conducive business environment noting that manufacturing is a key economic activity of the county.

The Sen. Ayango Nyongo committed to fighting corruption and automating County services if elected whereas Governor Jack Ranguma committed to ensure the next five years county structures would be strengthened while implementing his seven key pillars.
