Launch of Harmonized SOPs for Inspection, Verification and Clearance of Imports and Points of Entry

KAM launched the Harmonized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Inspection, Verification and Clearance of Imports at the Ports and Points of entry in Kenya. The SOPs are a one-stop reference for all government agencies/institutions and other actors tasked with ensuring efficiency and accountability in the inspection, verification and clearance of imported cargo at the points of entry in Kenya. 

Del Monte, United Nations Foundation Launch

KAM participated in the launch of the Del Monte Ltd. – UN Foundation Women’s Health and Empowerment Programme. The program will offer health services and training to prevent gender-based violence in the community. 

SDGs Value Scan Tools

KAM conducted an inhouse training on SDGs Value Scan Tools at Ultravetis Limited. This was done in partnership with DI. 

KAM engages Machakos County Industrialization Chief Officer

KAM Lower Eastern Region engaged Machakos County Chief Officer for Trade and Industrialization to discuss areas of partnerships and interest to manufacturers in the county. 

Salt Subsector visits new Magarini Sub County DCC

The Salt Subsector paid a courtesy visit to the new Magarini Sub County Deputy County Commissioner (DCC). During the meeting, the Salt Sub-Sector highlighted its activities to the new DCC. The meeting also focused on the upcoming Salt Multi-Stakeholders Forum. 

KAM participates in Business Court Users Committee meeting

KAM Nyanza/Western Region participated in the Business Court Users Committee meeting for Kisumu Chapter. The meeting, chaired by Kisumu High Court Presiding Judge, Justice Fred Ochieng, focused on the challenges facing businesses due to court processes.
