KAM launches first-ever Women in Manufacturing Report
Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) yesterday launched the first-ever Women in Manufacturing Report.
The outcomes of the research shall pivot KAM’s advocacy drive of the Women in Manufacturing Program in Kenya, by providing concrete data on the necessary areas to improve. It shall inform stakeholders in mainstreaming gender equality and inclusion in the manufacturing sector.
KAM launches the Centre for Green Growth and Climate Change
Kenya Association (KAM) has today launched the Centre for Green Growth and Climate Change.
Through this Centre, the Association seeks to provide a one-stop solution to deepen industry level interventions, promote a circular economy, promote climate change actions, and financial linkages that prioritise people and planet.
KAM, SDY partner to empower youth through skills and entrepreneurship development
The Association signed an MOU with the State Department of Youth to empower youth in the country through enterprise development, technical and vocational skills development, advocacy, and promotion of the locally manufactured products. This partnership is a key step towards implementing the Kenya Youth Development Policy 2019, which seeks to mainstream issues affecting the youth.
