SDG Validation Forum
Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) in partnership with Global Compact Network Kenya held a validation workshop to gather inputs on the draft Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) readiness study, to support implementation of the global goals in Kenya.
The Study assesses the policy framework conducive for accelerating SDGs realization, identifies gaps and proposes areas for reform to government ministries, departments and agencies.
KAM CEO, Ms. Phyllis Wakiaga highlighted the role the Manufacturing sector in driving sustainable and inclusive growth. As one of the sectors identified in the President’s Big 4 Agenda for the next five years, the sector is expected to drive innovation resulting in wealth and job creation.
Sales Performance Management
Kenya Association of Manufacturers held a Sales Performance Management Training from 31st January – 1st February 2018 in Nairobi.
The two-day training sought to assist sales heads improve the effectiveness of the sales team leading to improved sales and a happy sales environment.
The training covered sales & marketing strategy and planning, professional sales process, sales team management and leadership.
