400 Textiles and Apparel students graduate from McKinsey’s Generation program

Kenya Association of Manufacturers participated in the graduation ceremony of 400 textiles and apparel students under the Mckinsey’s Generation program on 23rd February 2018.

Mckinsey has been working on the Generation program with the aim to equip industry with skills necessary to enhance productivity and youth employability, and to increase its productivity to global standards. The program has been focusing on Apparels, Retail Sales, Insurance and Financial Institutions.

KAM has been at the center stage of the Apparel program. The program is a joint partnership with East African Trade and Investment Hub, Ministry of Industry Trade and Cooperatives and the KAM Textiles and Apparels Sector.  The first phase targets 2000 youth.
