Manufacturers engage Government on opportunities within the Big Four Agenda

Kenya Association of Manufacturers engaged the government  on 15th March 2018 to discuss manufacturing opportunities within the Big Four Agenda.

The event, attended by representatives from the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, provided a platform for manufacturers to discuss the ways in which the sector can spearhead innovative ideas and develop strategies to attain economic growth and achieve the goals illustrated in the big four Agenda.

Speaking at the event, Principal Secretary, State Department of  Industrialization, Ms. Betty Maina noted that the manufacturing sector is a key part of the big four government agenda because of its impact to the economy. Adding that the Government has prioritized the sector as it plays a key role in the other three pillars(health, housing and food security).
